Frequently asked questions.

How do I learn more about working with One80 Network Solutions?

Click on the contact us page and complete the request form. One of our territory managers will be in touch to discuss how we operate.

I don’t work at a startup agency. Can I still work with your network?

Absolutely. We work with all types of agencies whether in the beginning stages or with agencies that only wish to protect their existing carrier appointments.

Do I need to obtain E&O Insurance directly or will your company provide E&O Insurance?

Your agency will need to be properly insured with E&O coverage. Don’t have E&O or looking for a better rate? No problem. We have specialty E&O programs at discounted premiums.

Do you help with Life & Health appointments?

We are in the process of working with an affiliate L&H broker who can provide access to L&H products.

At this time we are only appointing for P&C. However, if you are needing help with specific L&H risks please let us know and our partners at One80 Intermediaries may be able to assist.

How does membership alter my agency perpetuation planning?

Not only would membership not restrict your perpetuation planning, it would open up more options for your consideration.

What is the minimum amount of insurance experience required to join One80 Network Solutions?

We prefer principal agents that have three or more years of experience as a licensed P&C insurance agent.

What is the difference between an insurance aggregator, cluster, or network?

Insurance aggregators provide market access and aggregate premium, sometimes with additional compensation, but without any support services or tools. Insurance agents join an aggregator to gain access to insurance carriers’ contracts. This relationship tends to be very transactional.

A cluster occurs when a group of agents form either a formal joint venture or a loose affiliation to place their individual books of business as part of a larger book in order to receive higher commissions or profit sharing. Cluster members continue to operate individually.

One80 Network Solutions is an Insurance Network. We build connections and relationships with financially stable carriers allowing the agent to focus on building revenue. A network allows an agency to gain a measurable ROI. We started our network with the intention of helping our member agents gain access to premium carriers, working with preferred vendors to offer discounted rates for our members, including affordable E&O coverages and Management system with a comparative rater.
